In order for America's
Freedom Amendments to become part of the
Constitution, we need to complete four steps:
1. The legislatures of 34 states must pass
the same resolution requesting Congress convene an Amendments Convention.
2. Congress, in accordance with Article V of the Constitution, dutifully
convenes a convention.
3. The convention votes to propose America's Freedom Amendments.
The delegates cannot change the Constitution, only recommend the
amendments.
4. Three-fourths of the states must then vote to ratify or approve the amendments.
